Nov 21 – ROSSS Holiday Trivia Night Alfred Taylor Rec Centre Tickets $15 Cash bar, chili, games, raffles and more. https://www.facebook.com/RuralOttawaSouthSupportServicesRosss

Nov 21 to 23 the North Grenville Community Theatre is hosting Our Town, Thornton Wilder’s enduring classic that portrays the essence of small town life. At the Urbandale Arts Centre on CR 44. https://ngct.ca/

Nov 22 Friday night the Osgoode Carleton Snowmobile Trail Club is hosting its season opener fundraiser at the clubhouse – spaghetti dinner and bonfire starts at 6 pm. District snowmobile raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

Nov 22-24 – Tickets are still available for this weekend’s Dundas County Players performance – they are doing three one act plays, Tickets available online.

EVENT CANCELLED – Nov 23 Pasta Night at the Osgoode Legion $25 dinner Antipasto, Pork Parmesan and Pasta with Meat Sauce full dinner and dessert, entertainment by Vince Thompson

Nov 23 Soup and Biscuit Lunch St. Pauls Anglican – don’t miss this, folks! From 11 am to 1 pm you can get bake-from-frozen meat pieces -turkey, chicken and tourtiere $20 no need to pre order. And their soup! So many varieties. And be sure to pick up a copy of their parish cookbook – funds are being raised for accessible washrooms and a lift in the churches.

Nov 27 and 30th are calls for auditions for the Russell Association of the Performing Arts. Their upcoming play is called The Siegel, a comedy.

Nov 30 Osgoode Township Fish Game and Conservation Club Wild Game Potluck Dinner 6 pm to 11 pm, silent and live auctions $20 per ticket.

Christmas Markets:

November 17 to December 22 The Greely Good Market is hosting Holiday Markets every Sunday from 10 till 3. They have a special holiday night market on November 28  from 6 till 9  5770 Bank Street near Mitch Owens

November 23 Watson’s Mill and Dickinson House in Manotick Christmas every Saturday and Sunday from Nov 23 to Dec 3

Nov 23 Christmas Craft Show at St. Michael’s in Kemptville 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. 200 tables of handmade gifts

Nov 24 Jack Frost Fair Christmas Market 200 Sanders Street Kemptville 12 pm to 4 pm

Nov 24, Dec 1 and Dec 8 – Kars RA Christmas Market. There will be a variety of vendors on each day of the markets. There is no admission fee however they are collection donations of food or cash to the North Gower Outreach Food Bank.

Nov 29-30 Christmas in the Village Manotick  6pm Friday night is the parade of lights at 7 pm and community tree lighting, and on Saturday there are activities all day starting at 9 am with breakfast with Santa at Millers Oven, santa’s workshop, wagon rides, lunch with the grinch at the Black Dog Bistro, and more.

Dec 6 &7 Christmas in the Village in Osgoode – including breakfast with Santa (Tony and I are cooking!), parade of lights, tree lighting ceremony, ugly Christmas sweater party and more.

Youth Associations:

Teen Drop in Grades 7 to 12 at OYA on Main Street every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. See their website for details.

Free Youth Drop In at G-YA Wednesdays. Open to youth in Greely grades 7 to 12 at Greely Community Centre, see their Facebook page for details.

YOMA Pre Teen Night and Youth Drop In on Fridays at the Community Centre. 6:30 for pre-teens and 7:30 for teens.
